Hey Emily, how are you today?

Emily Kaija

I’m doing great. Chuck, how are you?

Chuck Solomon

I’m well, thanks so much. Can you let listeners know a little bit about the company work for and your role there?

Emily Kaija

Oh, I’d be happy to. So I work for XWP as a candidate experience specialist. And my focus is to deliver exceptional experiences for everyone who participates in the hiring process at x WP web agency and we deliver enterprise level solutions with WordPress technology. A lot of our clients are publishing entities like magazines, newspapers, who need a really strong and versatile content management system. So we worked with Rolling Stone magazine, News Corp, Australia, a Variety magazine, a lot of companies like that WordPress is an open source software, which means that anybody can use it, modify it, make it better. And it powers about 40% of the websites on the intranet. So actually, a lot of people probably see WordPress sites every day and may not even realize it. But right. We work with digital partners as well like Google and Pantheon and automatic to develop new technologies and plugins to share with the WordPress community.
