Focusing on the traditional recruitment funnel will allow you to optimize a sinking ship. The way you make a real impact on speed of hire, quality of hire, and really your entire talent strategy is to look above and below the funnel. But below the hire is the entire business. Rather think of this part of the funnel as “the stuff that happens after the hire and has nothing to do with me,” think of this as the resources and channels every recruiter could (and should) use to shortcut the typical recruiting funnel.
